Bring USD cash — preferably $100 bills (you’ll get a better exchange rate).
Do not exchange at a bank. We’ll help you exchange safely using the black market rate. More bang for your buck!
Only bring the credit card you used to book your flight in case it’s needed at check-in.
Nigeria is mostly cash-based — don’t rely on your debit/credit cards.
COMMUNICATION & TECH TIPS
We purchasing a portable WiFi device (in Nigeria) for reliable data and calls or reach out to your phone provider to see if your plan comes with international roaming.

Outfit to Slay {Summer Wear} Nigeria has a hot climate, with slight cool breeze at night, so a light jacket will suffice. Some of our events require a dress code, please keep that in mind, when packing.
CHILDREN & FAMILY INFO
Kids are welcome at both wedding days for our Wedding Party & Family.
Friday (Traditional Wedding):
Hosted at the bride’s family home
Children will stay indoors with a designated nanny
Saturday (Reception):
Kids table with activities + coloring
3–4 professional nannies will be on site
A security guard will be present to ensure peace of mind for parents

1. What’s the weather like in Lagos in December?
Lagos is warm, festive, and sunny in December — expect temperatures between 85–90°F (29–32°C). Pack light, breathable clothing, sunglasses, and sunscreen!
2. Where should I stay during the wedding weekend?
We’ll be sharing hotel recommendations soon, along with group block information for guests.
3. When should I plan to arrive in Lagos?
If you're part of the Wedding Party or Aso Ebi Train, we suggest arriving by Monday, December 8th to be part of fittings, group activities, and rehearsals. Otherwise, arrive with enough time to rest and prepare for the celebration!
4. Will there be an official invitation or wedding website?
Yes! Everyone will receive an official wedding invitation and access to the main wedding website with RSVP details. This private page is just for our Wedding Party and Aso Ebi fam to help you prepare with exclusive details.
5. Can I bring a gift to the wedding?
Your love and presence is the best gift of all. If you'd still like to bless us, we’re gratefully accepting monetary gifts only at this time. Details will be included on the wedding website.
